All plant cultivation today is done while taking every consideration for the environment and there is strong focus on food safety, control and traceability.
Over the years AP Grønt has achieved several international certifications, including GLOBALG.A.P. and GRASP.
The standard includes a number of requirements that must be met by the producer. These are requirements that ensure
that the products are grown and packed with consideration for the environment, focus on food safety and respect for the welfare of employees.
The aims of GLOBALG.A.P. include ensuring consumers and buyers that production is done with the minimum possible use of chemical sprays and fertiliser,
while there is a strong focus on hygiene and food safety.

GAP is short for “Good Agricultural Practice”.
The basic principles are:
  • Food safety
  • Environment
  • Quality
  • Traceability
  • Employee safety and welfare
GRASP stands for GLOBAL G.A.P. risk evaluation of social practice

It has been developed to evaluate the social practice in the business and specific aspects of employees’ health, safety and welfare.
